Le Moulin De l'Argentouire is a former watermill that offers spacious accommodation for up to 9 people in the Languedoc Rousillon region of Southern France. With large gardens, woodland walks and a large swimming pool the apartment retains its rustic charm and offers a relaxing holiday in the French countryside.

It is over 300 years old and has been refurbished to a high standard. The accommodation has been split to provide 2 self contained apartments. The larger apartment, consisting of 4 bedrooms (2 en suite with showers) a sitting room (with a single bed settee), a fully equipped kitchen and a further large family bathroom has been made available for rent as self catering accommodation. The smaller apartment is retained as private accommodation for the owners.

Le Moulin is in a countryside setting, near Castelnaudary France, with large gardens and a swimming pool on site. The pool is pretty much exclusive other than the owners may take the occasional dip if it is not being used. The pool is in the sun most of the day but there are trees and sunshades available for when you want to avoid the direct sunlight.

Also outside is a large patio and barbecue area for al fresco dining and is a great place to spend an evening chatting and taking a glass of wine under the stars. The gardens lead to farmers fields and woodland walks, perfect for an early spring or late autumn walking holiday. Plus of course you can relax by the pool or under the shade of the trees during the hot summer months. The total area of the immediate site is approximately an acre and the farmers fields are either full of barley or sunflowers depending on the chosen crop for the year. The sunflowers are at their best from the middle of July through to mid August.

The bedrooms are very comfortable and can be arranged as twin or double beds, also there are, in addition to the family bathroom, two en suite shower rooms the larger of which, off the main bedroom, is a wet room. The second has a shower tray and both have a wash hand basin and WC.

The kitchen is well equipped and hosts a large larder fridge with freezer box, a dishwasher, combi-microwave, and a full sized cooker. There is also a full and comprehensive range of utensils as you would expect to find in any kitchen so that you get that home from home feeling on your holiday. You will be able to prepare meals just like you were in your own kitchen if you choose to do so..

The laundry facilities available for the apartment include an automatic washing machine, ironing board and iron with a rotary washing line available in the private side garden for the apartment. Linen and towels for the apartment are provided.
